The 2008 Copper World Classic continues a tradition started three decades ago as the best drivers from USAC’s top ranks come to town for a doubleheader under PIR’s bright lights on Thursday, November 6.
The action starts with a 25-mile feature in the USAC Mopar National Midget Car Series, and concludes with a 100-mile nightcap featuring the stars of the USAC K&N Silver Crown Series. Some of today’s top NASCAR stars have emerged from Copper World Classics past, including champions Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon.
