Michigan International Speedway
12626 U.S. 12
Brooklyn, MI 49230-9068

Michigan International Speedway boasts a proud 40-year history of hosting America's best racing action on its 1,400-plus acres in the scenic Irish Hills. With 18 degree banking and 73-foot wide sweeping turns, Michigan International Speedway provides drivers with three and four grooves to run around the two-mile speedway.

Michigan is now one of the fastest tracks in NASCAR due to its wide, sweeping corners and long straightaways; typical qualifying speeds are in excess of 190 mph and corner entry speeds easily exceed 200.

The 2008 season will feature a new scoreboard, improved turn one seating, 300 new campsites in the Graves Farm Campground with electric hookups and new way-finding signage around the MIS property.

MIS is expected to host over half a million fans during its two race weekends in 2008. The crowds will join live television and radio audiences for five races featuring the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

In addition to racing, Michigan International Speedway has become known for its Saturday night concerts. From rock bans to country music stars and everything in between, concerts at Michigan International Speedway draw thousands every Saturday night during a NASCAR weekend.
